For this image I used the eraser and the history brush tool. The type of layer I used is the stroke. Then I used the the texture filter, and the stylize filter, after that I used the sharpen filter.

For my second image I used the blur tool and the gradient tool. After that I applied the layer style outer glow. Then I applied the filters my first filter is the texture filter, then I used the stylize filter, and the last filter that I used is the distort filter
