For this image I used the eraser and the clone stamp. For my type I used the stroke. And for filters I used the swirl, grain and crystallize.

On this other image I used the blur tool and the gradient. For the text I used the drop shadow outer glow. For filters I used the smart blur, emboss and extrude.
