To make the cut out pictures I needed to erase extra abstract that was around it. Then I used the patch tool to make the stars that are floating around. Then for my text I used outer glow and bevel and emboss to make it stand out more. Then I use artistic watercolor, distort twirl, and distort zigzag to make the background stand out and have more features.

I used the dodge tool to make my background look more bright as if the sun is bright. Of course I used the erase tool to erase any extra abstract. For the fliters I used blur to make a motion blur. Render to make lens flare to make it seem as if the sun is hitting the text. then I used texture for the patchwork.
