| I took a picture of regular clouds and used it as my
background. I then changed the color balances of the highlights, mid
tones, and shadows to get the effect of the bright blue sky with
glowing white clouds. I then got a picture of a girl turned away and
used the lasso tool to move her from the original image and use it as
the first layer on the background of clouds. After doing this, I got a
picture of a black balloon and used the magic wand to get the white
space around it and used Select..Inverse to get the balloon and move it
and use it as the 2nd layer on my background. I then added a squiggly
line and attached it to make it seem like the string of the balloon was
what the girl was holding onto. After I liked how the girl looked, I
added text and gave it a "lighter feel" since the picture looked
solemn. Once I was done with the text, I changed the highlights,
shadows, and midtones of the fairy in a picture and used the magic wand
to move her to look up at the girl walking into the light. |
