Melissa's Photoshop Collages

I first used motion blur on my background so that it looks like everything is moving fast.  I then added another large picture of New York City and I applied a soft light filter and placed it over my background so everything is moving fast.  On the picture in the upper right hand corner I used the magnetic lasso so I can have just the two heads, I also applied a colored pencil filter just to give the picture a different look.  I then placed my last picture and put a soft light filter on it so it somewhat blends into the rest of the picture.  The final thing I did was use the text tool and added a quote I came up with and placed it in an arch shape.

I first applied to my background a chalk and charcole filter just so that the guitars looked different. On some of my pictures I applied a colored pencil filter so that they would stand out more.  On some of my other pictures I applied a hard light filter and a vivid light filter so that my pictures looked like they were imprinted on the guitars.  I also used the magnetic lasso to cut out just the heads of my pictures. On my Johnny Cash photo I used the overlay filter so that it was one with the background.
