In order to alter my image I use the following tools magnetic lasso tool, which traced around the part of the image I selected to erase the background,and the move tool helped me move images around. Some of the layer styles I used on my text were platino and drop shadow which created a 3d look. At the end I added some layer styles. for example: distort,wave and liquify what this did was created a sence of motion.

On this last picture the tools I used were the eraser tool which deleted all unwanted parts of an image, and the magnetic lasso also helped cut the part of the picture I needed. On my text I used the layer styles zapfinoand drop shadow which made it look more unique. Finally as my filters styles I used distort, ripple, and liquify to create movement.
