For the monkey on the dogs back I used the Torn Edges filter. On the otters bottle I used the crystallize filter. For the letters on the bottom of the page I used the emboss filter. In order to make the flames around the dog I used the smudge and burn tool.

On the background I changed the trees with a negative filter and on two of them I put a crystallize filter. On Johnny Cash's guitar I put a solarize and glowing edges filter. If you look closely on the sky I used a smudge tool and added some stars. I also used a burn tool on Johnny Cash's clothes to make them darker. For the letters I used a double ring glow to help make them stand out.
